What do you get when you take four guys, stuff them in a Corolla and drive five hours to the Okanagan for the weekend? Well, we got deepening friendships between us and the folks at the Oliver Alliance Church, a chance to get out of the city, and an awesome opportunity to share about what is going on in Mosaic and hear what is happening in Oliver.
Terry, Don, Patrick and Josh (in picture from left to right), joined Rod (on right) and many from Oliver for a workshop on Saturday evening and worship on Sunday morning.
Saturday evening Don led a workshop called "A Biblical Justice Primer". The group of about 30 people looked at the question "what is Biblical justice?" and explored what it means for us as individuals and as churches. Great discussion ensued amongst the participants, and everyone left feeling challenged about what we are doing and who we are sharing our lives with.
Sunday morning after a great worship by the Oliver team, Terry and Pat shared from their lives and Don spoke on Isaiah 61. Mosaic trips to partner churches are always fun, challenging and encouraging, and this was no exception. Thank you Oliver Alliance Church for your support, friendship and partnership in the work of the Kingdom!
